Each Scout Group has its own Committee of Management called a Group Committee.
This generally consists of parents, adults and carers of youth members who, together, ensure the Leaders of the Group have the resources available to deliver a quality Scouting experience for its members.
The committee is responsible for supporting the delivery of Scouting in the Group, and the management of Group funding, property and equipment.
Group Committees normally meet once a month to discuss matters relevant to running the Group, and to maintaining the property and equipment.
Perhaps you can help with some of our Parent Support roles?
We only ask for a few hours each month to help run the Group.
No prior experience is necessary - We offer full training and cover all your membership costs.
We have a wide range of other support roles available too and we’d be happy to discuss volunteering in more detail if you’d like.
Please contact us if any of these roles might be of interest for you or your partner.
