Trial Membership

We offer an obligation-free 4 week trial period, during this time you can decide if Scouts is something that your child enjoys.

To begin your child’s trial membership, please complete a Trial Membership Application Form from the button below.

Please note: We are unable to hold a trial vacancy open without a completed application form. Trial memberships are subject to each section's available capacity at that time.

Following a successful 4 week trial period, we will invite your child to formally join the World Scouting Movement during an Investiture Ceremony.

We will let you know when your child is ready for investiture and work with you to schedule a date and time.

Meeting Times

Location

All sections meet at our Scout Hall at Col Sutton Reserve on Baulkham Hills Rd.

A Scout Shirt is the only formal requirement of the Scout uniform. Your Scout will need this for their investment ceremony.

You don't need to purchase a uniform during your trial period, however a uniform is needed for the membership investment ceremony.

Please purchase a uniform once you’ve decided that you would like to join as a Scout member.

Family Involvement

Scouts are a 100% volunteer-run organisation and we encourage parents and families to also get involved in Scouting.

There are plenty of flexible ways adults can get involved with or contribute to their local Scout Group without making the time commitment required for a uniformed Leader role.

Become a Leader!

Interested in joining our Parent Support Committee or Leadership team as an Assistant Leader?

We only ask for a few hours each week to help run the Group.

No prior experience is necessary!

We offer full training and cover all your membership costs.

Leaders are the lifeblood of the Scouting Movement, doing their part to support thousands of children and young people to grow and develop through Scouts.

We are an organisation run by over 3,800 volunteer Leaders who are hugely important to Scouting. There are many reasons to become an Adult Leader - the personal satisfaction of helping young people to achieve their goals is immense, and your sense of personal achievement when you help them through a hurdle is nearly as strong as theirs!

As an adult supporter with our group, you will also receive a 15% discount on your child’s membership fees.
